Dickwad

Today I was dropping off my cousin off to second grade and heard a seven year old call his friend a dickwad! WTF. What is the world coming to... Where are this kids parents?

In my state of shock I wonder, "What is a dickwad exactly?"  I sip coffee out of my mug and gaze off into the clouds to think about this. I have an interpretation, but could you give me your thoughts on what a dickwad exactly is? A picture included would be helpful.
