Rendezvous

Guess what I learned today! Rendezvous= Ron-day-voo. I always believed that Rendezvous was a daredevil or something or perhaps a good name for a rental car. But now I am well informed that what I thought was pronounced "Rendevis" is actually what I know as "Ron-day-voo", which is of course a meeting between two or more parties, sometimes in secret. Cheers from Whistler-Blackcomb (where one of the lodges is called Rendezvous). For now, Im still going to spell it Ron-day-voo in my head. Im just not ready to adjust. Yeah yeah, I'm a fucking idiot. It's amazing how things can slide by you.
